SEASONS CHANGE BUT TIMELESS IS FOREVER

Me: ‘HEY!! It’s been a while, I missed you! Do you remember me??’
You: ‘New phone, who dis?

^^^ I deserve that ^^^
I haven’t posted in a while, I have neglected you for basically my entire Winter which you dealt with and I’m sure conquered that miserable weather like a champ.
If you’re reading this and are currently in Fall and entering Winter all I can say is…. you poor soul.
Just kidding, I’m sure you are so excited for the festive season and are in love with the weather change, just like I was when Autumn and Winter rolled around for me earlier this year.

As I am slowly putting together my Spring and Summer wardrobe (slowly being the key word here) I want my S\S 17 wardrobe to be better than any I have had. Buying less, loving more and ultimately having a stronger emphasis on quality. I thought this would be the perfect time to share with you one of my favourite items I invested in for my F/W 17 in hopes to inspire you if you are entering yours, and if not, hang tight I will have some Spring and Summer content soon!

We had our rough times (the blazer and I) I would be wrong not to admit that. WATCH HERE
But when we managed to solve our ordeal (seriously you need to watch the video) I was so happy to have her back.
Unfortunately, she was gone for most of Winter, but to be fair so was I (Helloooooo Europe!)
It didn’t bother me too much because I know we will spend so many more Winters together. That’s the thing about investing in classic pieces, they don’t age in design, they aren’t a trend, they are timeless.

This blazer has elements of trend attached to it, I think we could all agree on blush pink and lighter pink tones being one of the biggest trends of 2017 but ultimately pink will never be forgotten, it is such a classic colour and if it happens to be one of your favourite colours then how can you say no?

I encourage you all to invest in at least one timeless or quality piece this season, the more I do so the less I find myself buying and ultimately leaving behind to charity or landfill once I’m over it. Note: Always give to charity or thrift shops where ever possible 🙂 It’s such a liberating feeling to know you aren’t buying as many unnecessary items that you will later spend precious time sorting through wondering why you don’t want them anymore.

What’s one investment or a timeless piece of clothing you dream of owning?

Love Caitlin x

Where did you get that grey dress underneath the Balmain blazer and those lace up black + pink heels?
