McLaren Vale, South Australia

There’s nothing quite like a country road trip to Mclaren Vale.
Endless vineyards and wineries, it’s a great way to spend a Sunday with family or friends. At each winery, you are greeted by a friendly face and free wine tasting, whats better than that?

Truthfully I am not a huge lover of wine (I drink the beginners kind, a Moscato) but for me someone who doesn’t even like wine, I was in love with the food, the scenery, the sunshine and the quality time I got to spend with the people I love.

Living in South Australia my whole life and having never visited a winery is apparently unheard of in my city, after all, wineries are what South Australia is known for!
It is safe to say I will now be an avid winery visitor, if I was a wine lover some would question if I am on the border of alcoholism with the amount I plan to visit these newly found wonders.

There were so many wineries I didn’t get to visit and so many views I didn’t get to admire (and so many instagram shots I didn’t get to take!) I definitely can see myself visiting beautiful South Australian wineries more often.

Wineries visited:
Coriole
Molly Dooker
Penny Hill Kitchen Door  (restaurant visited for lunch)
Kay Brothers
Maxwell Wines

Thanks for reading.

Looks amazing, I went to a winery in Adelaide about a year ago for Fathers day and it was pretty amazing. The service, the vibes, interior, exterior and oh boy, the food……… #HEAVEN

I’ll have to find the name of it for you so you can check it out next time, you will love it <3
