Very few things make me as excited on a trip to a big city like the knowledge that my first day or two will be spent in my idea of heaven. Being surrounded by the white walls of Dior or the many levels of Louis Vuitton makes it almost impossible for me to get to sleep the night before a flight.
Sometimes the over dramatic part of me feels very deprived living in a city where the most luxurious store one will find is Tiffany & Co. Chanel and Hermes WHERE ARE YOU?
Until the population and atmosphere grow in my sleepy little city I will have to get my designer rush interstate, which I don’t all mind because I sometimes wonder if luxury stores will lose an edge of excitement for me if I knew I had access to them every day. (probably not, who am I kidding?!)
Most will say Melbourne is the shopping capital of Australia but I must say Sydney closely follows.
Castlereagh Street is where the action happens and seeing as I consider shopping a strenuous sport, on day one of my Sydney trip I hopped out my cab with my parents and was jokingly doing a warm up and stretches (carrying shopping bags can put really strain your upper body if not done carefully.)
Castlereagh St and the surrounding area is where you will find any luxury fashion store your heart desires.
This trip, Dior stole my heart.

Handbag review featured on my youtube channel
On a short stroll from The Park Hyatt Sydney, I was stopped in my tracks by Cosette and next minute I found myself in the designer outlet store and was a proud owner of the Givenchy Antigona medium nude leather handbag and the Celine Mini Luggage black smooth calfskin leather handbag. Both of these handbags were 40%, as my new additions were being wrapped up I felt like I was floating on a cloud (I told you luxury stores feel like heaven to me) Being my second Givenchy Antigona and my first ever Celine handbag I was glad I managed to pick up two classic handbags which may not be from this season but will last for seasons to come! #timeless.
Cosette’s main focus is on handbags (hello, my life) but they also carry accessories and clothing.
